Malai Kofta Recipe
Made using Mastercook Maida, Malai kofta is a hugely popular and delicious kofta curry where in potato paneer balls are dunked in a rich creamy gravy.

Ingredients
- 500 grams of master cook Maida
- 250ml milk
- 7 grams active dry yeast
- 50 grams sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 cup paneer
- 2 tsp coriander leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp maida
- Oil for frying balls
- To prepare sauce
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 3 garlic pods
- A piece of ginger
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of turmeric
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp dhaniya jeera powder
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 cardamom
- 1 bay leaf
Procedure
- In a bowl, add boiled potatoes, paneer, salt, coriander leaves and maida and combine well.
- Prepare small balls and deep fry in hot oil. You can even shallow fry or bake it.
- Boil onion, tomato, garlic and ginger and cashew nuts.
- Once cool down grind it to a smooth puree.
- In a pan add cumin, bay leaf and cardemom
- Now add puree. Also add turmeric powder, dhaniya jeera powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Once done, dunk the koftaa in it.
- Top it with fresh cream and serve along with roti or pratha or naan.
