Aloo Poha Tikki
Aloo Poha, but snack-style! The recipe below teaches you how to make these tikkis from scratch, but you can also use leftover aloo poha to make them. The Vijay family believes in no-wastage, you can follow this from home too!

Ingredients
- 1 medium potato, boiled and crushed
- 1 cup Vijay Gold poha, soaked in hot water and drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 15 g chopped coriander
- 2 chillies, chopped
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Master Cook maida
- 1 1/2 cup Vijay Gold poha
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1/2 - 1 cup water

Procedure
- Mix together 1 cup poha, chopped onion, ginger, coriander, chillies, chilli powder, garam masala, amchoor powder, pepper powder, chaat masala, salt and maida in a bowl.
- Make patties or tikkis and let sit in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, take the 1 1/2 cup of poha and roast in a pan with no oil.
- Make a paste or slurry with cornflour and water.
- Dip the tikkis, one by one, in the slurry and coat in the toasted poha.
- Shallow fry it until it turns crispy.
